School Sport Coaching Programme

Required from September 2008 as part of the School Sport coaching programme:

SCHOOL SPORT COACHES
Salary: up to £11.92 per hour (Part-time 200 hours per coach per year)

The New Forest School Sport Partnership is looking to appoint experienced Sports Coaches to work with young people in schools from 5-19 years. The role will be part time and involve coaching young people through an out of school hour’s delivery programme. Additional curriculum delivery may follow upon school requests.

You will need:

graphicLevel 2 Qualification or Level 1 registered on a Level 2 course
graphicBe committed to CPD
graphicPossess an enhanced Criminal Bureau check
graphicKnowledge and experience of coaching and running a variety of activities related to your sport.

The aim is to create a world class system for PE and sport for all children and young people, which stimulate and increase their participation in sport, and sustain it. Signposting these young people into appropriate clubs will also be a requirement of the role.
