NFPSS Rounders 2007


10 Schools took came together to participate in the Primary Schools Rounders Festival at Pennington Junior School.

The festival was closely contested by all the teams. Priestlands Secondary School helped to supply the umpires for the festivals. Priestlands PE teacher Tom Ritchie also commented on how high the standard of play was through the afternoon. It was Poulner, Marchwood and Wildground who set the standard early on, as it showed when all three schools dominated the semi-final stages. However, it was Marchwood and Wildground who reached the final.

Marchwood eventually ran out winners by 3 runs over their close rivals Wildground. Luckily the event was over just before the rain came!
