Mini Cross Country Relays

This year’s event saw a record number of 15 schools and over 150 children take part in a very fun and competitive festival.

The first race was won by Abbotswood Junior School (team 68), with Tiptoe School (team 54) finishing second, just in front of Brockenhurst School (team 34), with Orchard School finishing in 4th (team 65) and Pennington School finishing in 5th (team 60).

The second race was won by Durlston Court School (team 43), second were Orchid (team 65), third were Sway St Lukes School (team 58), fourth were Orchard (team 66) and in fifth place were Abbotswood (team 68).

The two race results were combined to find the team with the overall lowest points. In fifth place were Brockenhurst (team 34), behind them in fourth were Tiptoe (team 54), in third place were Durlston Court (team 43), in second place were Orchard (team 65), and this years winners were Abbotswood (team 68).

Notable performances were from Tiptoe who finished in the top 5 (team 54), Hale (team 45) finishing in 6th place and Sway St Lukes (team 58) finishing in 7th place.

Well done to all the teams who took part.
